I have a touring bicycle!
I went with Jeannette and bought a Dutch touring bicycle today. It's quite comfortable, with a Brooks saddle from England, mudguards, cable and tire lock, rack, quite nice. So I'll bicycle west to Harlingen, then back, then to Stuttgart tomorrow. It's closer as a crow flies to Barth, but not as a train goes, through the border to Germany from here has only 3 trains per day and they are not the high speed ones. It's cloudy now but very comfortable.

Keep up the great job of having a blast! Scope it out real well, take good notes and maybe if you decide to revisit again, you might have a fellow traveler next time. Good thing about that is you'll have learned the good & not so good about the whole thing and will benefit next trip. (So would I if I were to go along...!)

In Stuttgard, is a beautiful park....Oberer SchloBgarten....plus cute shops nearby to barter.....hope u have time to browse. love ya...cuz Donna
